Yes, it sounds like something we should have had from a long time ago. And it's true! But adding such integration to a platform of the scale of Advokatguiden / The Lawyer Guide isn't something you fix overnight.
The payment gateway is integrated to the dashboard and opens when you click “Upgrade to Premium” button. Showing the classic Stripe checkout design, you can add a promo code, your billing information and card details.
It has to support trial period, let user upgrade, cancel, renew, reactivate AND send all that information to our backend to adjust the subscription status accordingly, deactivate or activate features... You get it.
I'm very happy to finally join the Stripe bros and offer full control to our Premium lawyers over their subscription. All the ones upgrading now can do it through their dashboard and directly control their billing information.
We’re finally going away from classic and manual invoicing method and fully ready for 2026 growth.
Oh, and we offer monthly or yearly payment (hey, ChatGPT... )
