Vibe Coding Websites is the Future of Web Design

Wether we like it or not us designers, it's (unfortunately?) the future of web design right there. Making websites without designing in Figma or writing a single line of code. Sounds dystopian, I know, but is it really?

The Lost Art of Shipping Products

We lost the Art of shipping products and being the first one to market is the new obsession...Watching the presentation of the NEO Home Robot got me genuinely hyped. But behind the cinematic demo, most of what we saw wasn’t actually autonomous. About 90% of the actions were tele-operated by a human in a VR headset.

Google Search is dead and how we browse the web will never be the same

Remember when we used to “Google it”? That era is quietly fading out. People don’t really search anymore — they ask. Not the browser, not a forum, not a stack of open tabs but an AI. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude... whatever’s handy. We don’t browse the web, we delegate it.

Why I Keep Coming Back to Fintech Design

I’ve worked across many industries, from lifestyle to tech to Web3. Yet, no matter where I go, I always find myself returning to Fintech. There’s something oddly beautiful about it. Design in Fintech isn’t meant to be noticed. It’s meant to disappear.

Banking apps used to be the holy grail of fintech — But now, maybe the best interface is no interface at all.

That was me this summer trying to complete a transaction on the laptop cause I didn't trust the app to actually work 👆🏻Let’s take Karta.io. They basically turned Telegram into a full banking front-end. You chat, you get verified, you get a card, you move money — all inside Telegram. No downloads, no dashboards, no fancy design system. Just conversation.

I Started Showing My Prices Publicly — It Changed Everything

For years, designers have hidden their prices behind “Let’s discuss” buttons and custom quotes. I did too — until I realized how much time and trust it was costing me. So I made the switch: I put my prices right on my website for everyone to see. What happened next surprised me — especially in Singapore, where people started valuing the openness as much as the design itself. It didn’t just attract clients; it set a tone of honesty that carried through the entire relationship.

Scaling a Startup: Lessons from Advokatguiden/The Lawyer Guide

The Lawyer Guide kicked off in Norway 🇳🇴 back in 2020 as Advokatguiden. Immediate traction. We mixed our networking capacity with a heavy PR push, and suddenly the platform became THE tool to find and review lawyers in the country. This was a very specific product talking to the right audience. The perfect MVP 🤙🏻

Design’s Favorite Shape Isn’t A Square

Humans love patterns. And if design has a favorite shape, it’s not the rectangle on your screen—it’s the wheel.Look at the history of products and you’ll see it repeating. Rotary phones, Braun T3 radios, the iPod, even the Apple TV remote. Four different decades, four different contexts, but the same circular idea at the core. The wheel keeps sneaking back in because it works.

Everywhere you look, color is disappearing. And that’s a problem.

Cars are now 80 percent grayscale. Cinema drenches vibrant sets in blue-gray monotony. Brands ditch bold logos for meek neutrals. Architecture repeats beige-glass-steel grids with robotic uniformity. Minimalism has gone on autopilot.

How small design inconsistencies can ruin a Fintech UI

In fintech, design isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about trust. A well-structured interface communicates security, clarity, and legitimacy. But even the most visually impressive UI can fall apart under the weight of small, repeated mistakes. This is what we call design accumulation: the piling up of minor inconsistencies that eventually break the user experience.

Figma Sites came to replace Framer: Can They Succeed?

For the past two years, Framer has built its reputation on one thing: doing what Figma didn’t. It let designers ship websites—visually, quickly, without code—while keeping the UI and logic familiar to anyone fluent in Figma. That strategy paid off. Framer became the go-to for freelancers and solo designers who wanted to stop handing off files and start delivering fully functional websites. Design it, publish it, get paid. Simple.

Why the Pyramids of Giza are a timeless inspiration for designers

The Pyramids of Giza have fascinated me since childhood. Seeing them in person earlier this year was a dream come true. Standing atop a hill with their silhouette in the distance, I realised how these ancient wonders embody timeless design principles that can inspire even digital designers today.

The importance of the Hero section in the Conversion Rate of your site

When visitors land on your website, the hero section is the first thing they see. In just a few seconds, they decide whether to stay or leave. A strong hero section grabs attention, communicates value, and guides users toward action—all essential for conversion rate optimization.

How people read a website: a UX analysis about user’s behaviour

In the digital realm, understanding that users interact with website content differently than they do with printed materials is crucial. Studies reveal that users read only about 20% of the text on a web page, with merely 10% to 20% reaching the end. This indicates that most users skim through information rather than reading it in detail.
